MatchWork Roadmap Update 2007
In April, we initiated a restructuring of the MatchWork development organisation in order to meet the growing needs of our clients.
Everywhere in the market we see the need for newspaper publishers to pre-empt attacks on the classified advertising market by competitors, who would like to sideline newspapers in favour of exclusively online options.
Our revised Roadmap addresses this issue, firstly with vastly-improved information provision to assist sales and marketing and to encourage integrated print/online strategies.
The new reporting system is now becoming available and is described in more detail in the next article.
The new CV parsing module is also progressing well. This development will massively reduce the time involved in registering a CV and encourage many more candidates onto our partner sites. Development is now at an advanced stage.
Finally, we have commenced detailed design on the advanced navigation system which will enhance the user experience of all MatchWork sites. Our user research has confirmed that this is a large opportunity area and we are moving with - and even ahead of - the times with our ideas.
